Here’s an interesting Wordpress plugin for those who want a way to monetise their video blogs (or even the usual blogs as long as you like to embed videos). We all love YouTube but Google’s still trying to find the right solution to maximising the profits there. And though it IS their number one priority this year we can only cross our fingers hoping profits will trickle down big time to video bloggers who simply embed videos on their own blogs. Of course you can stick with YouTube and make sure you have linked your YouTube and AdSense accounts to be able to get revenue there or you can check out Revver to earn additional profit.
Revver, like You-Tube, is a video sharing site. However, you can make money by hosting a video on the site as well as by sharing other people’s videos on your blog. The nice thing about Revver is that due to the revenue sharing model other Revver users be more enthusiastic about sharing your video content. Admittedly I still have no idea how much revenue this can generate for you but it is worth a look.
