Problogger is a blog for professional bloggers and aspiring professional bloggers alike. If you are in the business of professional blogging, then there is a good chance that you know about Problogger or have at least come across the name.

Problogger is regularly published by Darren Rowse from Australia. Currently the blog is a part of b5media — a network of 200 odd blogs from all over the world covering all major hot blogging topics. Darren Rowse is one of the co-founders of b5media. These bloggers, as far as I know, work on a revenue-sharing basis base payment plus a traffic bonus (edited in light of information received from Jeremy – see comment).

Coming back to Problogger, Darren proved that blogging is not merely a hobby or a pass-time: it is a full-fledged revenue-generating exercise if done properly, over a long period of time. It’s another matter he writes on a topic that’s quite favorite among many bloggers: earning money blogging. The word “money” attracts people like sugar attracts flies. There are great posts on how to increase your blogging revenue on pretty much anything you need to know.

On Problogger Darren focuses on applicability. Whenever you read his posts you learn something, and you learn something you can immediately apply to your own blogging. If you want to know how to promote your blog and grow its earning potential then Problogger is just the right blog for you because Darren has gone through the same pangs of starting from scratch. All his posts tend to solve the real-world problems and precisely for this reason his blog is such a hit among his readers.

The blog also carries a warm feeling. There is a community of people seeking a common destination. Problogger has a loyal, dedicated readership because Darren treats all his readers with great respect.

Recently Problogger was redesigned. What you see now is the new design, that is more friendly, creates more space for content and also enables unobtrusive advertising.

If you want to read some no-nonsense, high-quality content on pro blogging, I highly recommend Problogger.
