I'm sure when it does happen, the world will know immediately. I wonder if they'll sell to the highest bidder of if they'll be more worried about finding a quality owner. I still think it's a good move for Google to get rid of that component. However, their reluctance (or maybe just slowness) to move is slightly confusing.
