Gary Cottam

I’m the founder and CEO of Doublespark, a Web Design and SEO company based near Peterborough, in the UK. I am something of a veteran in the website design and SEO sectors, having been involved at a high level with various concerns for more than 16 years, starting out in the field of critical live medical data – which gave me a firm foundation in managing highly complex and demanding projects. Since then I have managed projects for blue-chip companies such as Aventis and GSK, and was the Chief Operating Officer for Micron Data Systems in 2005. I am constantly expanding my skills and experience, working also as Technical Director for graphic design agency Titman Firth.

My work at various levels of the internet and SEO sector mean that I not only have the experience to help maximise the performance of companies operating online and the ability to spot the potential of new technologies, but am also able to take a key role in my companies’ various projects, personally overseeing every job and staying as the main point of contact for our clients.

I offer a range of services structured around Website Design, SEO and Online Marketing, whether you are looking for website reviews, rebuilds or comprehensive SEO projects. My work in the separate but closely-related fields of website design and graphic design also keep my ideas fresh, thanks to the creative cross-fertilisation that these disciplines require. Additionally, my work as chief editor of the Phoenixrealm SEO blog enables me to keep bang up to date with the very latest developments in this field, and to transfer this knowledge to my commercial work.

I live in near Cambridge with my wife Lucy, and also travel extensively around the UK. If you would like to know any more about what I do – or what I can do for you and your business – please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
