Matt Cutts Blog Hacked or April Fools Joke?

Maybe it is me, but site hacking seems to be coming to the fore in the news this week. My last post detailed hackers targeting TK Maxx customers. Today search engine land released news that Matt Cutts wordpress blog has been hacked.

This could be Matt enjoying an April fools joke with his readership. But it could be a determined group of hackers again targeting prominent SEO blogs, time will tell.

In the meantime we all appreciate the value of, and perform regular backups - Right?

I think it is a April fools joke! The same with the website of Shoemoney i guess.
