Another often overlooked part of SEO is initial keyword research, it's really the foundation of doing SEO.

Rank for terms that don't bring traffic and your whole efforts are wasted. Exacmple, i rank for a 800 Million result term and it brings very little traffic. That rank is a by-product of targeting a similar term, but had i "tried" to rank for it i'd be less then impressed.</description>
