If you love good, attractive layouts, then you are going to love Dave Naylor’s UK SEO blog too. Dave is an SEO consultant who believes in getting ranked #1 with a mixture of both White Hat and Black Hat SEO tactics — it all depends on the need of the hour.

You don’t find long, tutorial type posts on his blog, at least not at a cursory glance. It mostly consists of his thoughts on latest search engine and Internet trends and his own personal experience of dealing with Google and other search engines. Some of the programming posts are comprehensive though. His following stems from his authority and the level of interaction he has generated through conferences and other online forums and BBs that he owns or moderates.

What I liked while going through the posts (not all the posts are written by Dave) is the way they converse with readers without being over-conscious about the typos and other lingual mistakes. The various posts spanning wide range of topics are always talking to readers, asking question, revealing secrets, sharing tidbits, and of course, ranting sometimes (the blog has a category dedicated to ranting).

As I said in the beginning itself, the blog has a neat layout — a contemporary look, everything well-organised and very reader-friendly. Worth book-marking (not for design, but for content and conversation): I’ve already added it to my RSS reader. A good SEO place to visit daily.

Another great review Gary. Although hi complains a lot on his blog (;0) and hsi posts are generally short, Dave really knows his stuff.
