Google+ Pages for businesses may have been launched only this Monday, but that should not stop you from making a page for your business. While a carefully planned out website is very important, the great thing about social pages like Google+ pages is that you can just create a page right away, plug in the most relevant information about your business, and then just slowly add the content you want to share when needed.

Getting started with Google+ Pages is really easy, especially if your business already has a Facebook page (and who doesn’t?). However, in case you want to make sure that you go about things the right way, here’s a link to Google’s introductory/tutorial page on Google+ Pages for businesses. There you can learn more about how to share your links, photos, or news snippets on Google+, as well as how to cross-promote your content via the +1 button, and of course, to understand and measure the effects of your social media efforts via Google+.
