Why do we actually think that PR is very important . A website can have a 0 PR still can run good business and can generate good ROI for its business.

Some Internet marketing experts believe that SEO starts from link building and trying to increase page rank and ends there. Thus we need to change this and take the Internet marketing to different level.

yes i have seen websites with good page rank and no traffic (according to alexa) but have not seen website with good traffic and 0,1, etc page rank.
Yes it is correct that we should not run after page rank, but i see no reason why page rank would not build automatically if we publicize the website with good products / services, i feel like pagerank is a reward, sometimes you get sometimes you do not.

Have got to agree with you. Google PageRank doesn’t really serve any purpose these days. The more SEO work I do, the more I’m seeing zero PR sites outrankings 4s and 5s, etc. I think its really more a “trustworthiness” thing, than an SEO factor.
