I read another good article today on “How to SEO Your WordPress Blog” some of it is a little old hat, and most of the suggestions have already been implemented on Phoenixrealm.

However, there were a couple of more intersting items:

  • A list of ping services (I currently only use the WP default one)
  • Using Technorati to categorise and index your content

As the article says, apply these tips and soon you’ll be on your way to more traffic and better ranking!!

Hey, nice to see you liked my article! Along with Drupal and Joomla, Wordpress is one of the CMS’ i use for my sites so sharing a few common sense tips wasn’t that hard for me.

Good luck Gary!

Isn’t it great that social networking also impacts your SE Ranking and you get more traffic from both!

I’ve used social networking and bookmarking (StumbleUpon) for quite some time. Sure, it does drive traffic but only for a short term. Your bookmark only appears at the top if it is fresh, since bookmarking sites list the latest news only.

While doing SEO for blog, I have comme across RSS submission. If I submit an rss feed of my blog to those directories, won’t google tagged me as duplicate content? What happen if google indexed the copy of my posting on their website first?
