It’s good to know that canonical URL’s go further then he puts it. ALL content will only be reachable under 1 URL, which is something you had to “force” to happen with plugins before. No more ?id= pages indexed if you have normal permalinks, that’s quite the relief.

Just so happens i know of a guy called Joost who made such i plugin i used on my blog to tidy up the SEO shortcomings of WordPress. 😀
I’m really looking forward to 2.3
